🧑💻 Running a Sentry:
Sentry nodes are very lightweight and we have tested dozens of keys operating on a single laptop with no issues. Nodes will be available for Windows, MacOS and Ubuntu. There will also be a CLI version available. Running a Sentry on a laptop is as simple as running popular desktop apps like Slack, Discord or Steam. You should expect dramatically lower hardware, bandwidth and electricity costs than traditional nodes in other popular ecosystems.

📈 Testnet Growth
The Xai testnet has successfully scaled to over 3.5 million daily transactions, making it one of the largest testnets in the industry's history, you can see this here. This scale is attributed to Xai's wallet-less and gas-less experience enabled by another key partner, Thirdweb. You can participate in the Xai Testnet Odyssey here and play games already deployed to testnet (Tarochi and Web3 Warriors!)
🌐 Mainnet:
Xai's mainnet is expected to launch around the new year, with several third-party developers deploying games, dapps and infra. To read a more extended Roadmap, click here.
📊 Sale Expectations:
This node sale was inspired by the Gala ecosystem. Like the Gala ecosystem, the expectation is that this will be a long term sale that will take place over many months or years. The early tiers of nodes with lower prices will move fast.
👥 Upcoming AMA:
Have questions for the team behind Xai? Arbitrum is hosting an AMA on December 6th, come and hear the teams talk about the future of Xai and ask them anything:
❓ FAQ:
Bot deterrence:
Since users have the option to buy nodes in quantity by selecting the desired quantity in the purchase flow, there isn't much advantage to using bots.
Purchase Limits:
Transactions involving 70 keys or more often reach the gas limit on Arbitrum One. Therefore, it is advisable to limit each transaction to less than 70 keys. For enhanced safety, consider purchasing 50 keys or fewer at a time.
There is no Sentry key limit per wallet.
Passing KYC:
If you are outside the USA and not subject to any OFAC sanctions, you should not encounter issues with KYC. If you are in the list of countries below or subject to any OFAC sanctions, you will not be able to claim network rewards. Please note that you will need to submit documents during the KYC process, so VPNs won't help you. If these documents are unclear or difficult to read, Blockpass may request updated documents via email. Keep an eye on your email and collaborate with Blockpass to fulfill their requirements. More info here.
⛽️ Running Nodes Estimated Gas Fee:
On average, funding your Sentry Wallet with 0.001 ETH is enough to cover the gas to run 1 Key on a node that's running 24/7 for 1 year
Note: you should fund your Sentry Wallet with ETH on Arbitrum One
